About
Maghrib is an Arabic word associated with the sunset. It means the place and time of sunset.
The time of maghrib has a great significance in Islam. There is a prayer called Maghrib
performed as the sunsets. Al-maghrib foundation is named after this significant period. As soon
as the sun sets, we plan for the next day, we work hard to see how we can transform the lives of
those living in abject poverty. The foundation was established 13th March 2020 in Danbatta local Government of Kano state, Nigeria. Our focus is to mobilize communities towards sustainable and responsible development. At Al-maghrib Foundation we believe in transforming the lives of those living in the communities through the provision of access to free and quality healthcare and
education.
